SUMMERDALE FIRE COMPANY 100th ANNIVERSARY PARADE

The members of the Northeast Fire & Rescue Company are proud to announce that we will be hosting an "old school" fire service parade and after-party to celebrate 100 years of continued service from the Summerdale Chemical Company & Summerdale Fire Company. The event will have fire apparatus judging prior to a parade through the village of Summerdale with an awards ceremony taking place at the American Legion of Enola. Registration & Judging:

Capital Area Intermediate Unit - 55 Miller Street, Summerdale

Registration starts: 8:00 AM

Judging starts: 8:30 AM

All apparatus must be registered for judging prior to 11:30 AM

Parade starts: 1:00 PM

Parade route: 

Starts at First St. & Miller St., continue on First Street to Mountain Street

Left onto Fourth Street, continue on Fourth Street to Valley Street

Left onto Valley Street, continue on Valley Street to Second Street

Left onto Second Street, continue on Second Street to High Street

Left onto High Street, continue on High Street to Third Street

Left onto Third Street, continue on Third Street

Parade will end after passing the Firehouse.

SUMMERDALE RESIDENTS: Per the East Pennsboro Township Board of Commisioners, no street parking and temporary street closures will take place prior and during the parade on the affected parade route. We appreciate your cooperation during this celebration for our community.

After-Party & Awards Ceremony

American Legion Post #751 of Enola - 295 W. Shady Lane, Enola

Event will take place at the completion of the parade

Food, drinks & music

(only those who are over the age of 21 and not operating any apparatus will be permitted to consume alcohol, ID required at registration and entrace to awards ceremony)
