The Northeast Fire & Rescue Company is one of the 21 central Pennsylvania volunteer fire companies that has successfully been awarded a FEMA S.A.F.E.R (Staffing for Adequate Fire & Emergency Response) grant in late 2021 through the Capital Region Council of Governments. This grant is designed to not only provide incentives to current members but to aid in the recruitment of new members into the fire service.
