1st Due Building Fire

Just before 6am on Thursday, the 1st alarm was sent for the reported building fire in Westwood Village, in the first due. Chief 20 arrived with fire through the roof of one and two story condos with another condo and three story apartment building as exposures. Companies gained control within an hour of dispatch and contained the fire to the two original condos with minor damage to another. The incident went to 2 alarms and was simultaneous to a multi-alarm fire in Harrisburg City. No civilian or fire personnel injuries were reported with all displaced residents being assisted by American Red Cross.
