On Friday evening, the box was sent for the reported house fire in 17’s first due. With the Station staffed, the Squad, Tanker, Chief and Chief 1 went with the Rescue following. Chief 17 arrived finding a row of two story residential with fire showing on the back side of one home. The Squad arrived and secured its own water and sent multiple hand lines into service for an attack with fire on all floors with exposure issues while the crew from Truck 17 opened up. Manpower from multiple mutual aid departments also assisted. Thank you to Duncannon Fire Company for providing coverage during the incident.
